What does Blizzard think of resto Drood healing

Post by zoquete » Wed Aug 06, 2008 9:16 am

Druids are intended -- as healers -- to be able to dish out good throughput heals with very low efficiency, likewise Lifebloom is intended to be rather cheap and efficient, but not to the degree that it is today.

So in terms of players, blizzard wants us to do big heals , have no mana. because
we just burned it in a few minutes.. Interesting :)
If we had healing touch lowered to 2.0 casting then i would say go for it..
ill chain mana pots in exchange for fat and faster heals.

and

Compare how you healed in dungeons and raids pre-Burning Crusade to today. Before you used nearly every healing spell you had, today you just use Lifebloom and maybe your other HoTs just because they stack with Lifebloom. Not only is this boring to the player, but it pigeon holes the Druid to spamming Lifebloom on the tanks.

Yeah Downranking healing touch, which was then nerfed and kinda forcing ourselves
to depend on full hot stacking 0_0.
And on pre tbc regrowth was so damn useless.. nothing to change its mana cost.
Now finally a few idols and the buff received to its casting cost. made it usefull
once again.

Hope they dont break the spell once more.

New Lifebloom - 15% base mana cost, doesn't stack, 50% of current healing
