The balance of Haste + Crit

Post by Motagus » Wed Jun 04, 2008 11:37 am

How are you guys addressing this? I assume it's just getting your +hit maxed for your build and then going 50/50 if possible. Is this accurate or are you gearing yourself differently? What is optimal?
Q: Why is leveling a mage like being Irish?
A: Because it's drink, fight, drink, fight.

I'd say haste is more valuable than crit... back on our many attempts of Brutallus when me an Kinz were competing, he had superior haste, while I had superior crit and dmg. We found that although he was able to pump out more dps, I did less dps while being more limited by threat.

I figure if you're at the point where we are (Sunwell+), you've got the crit you need, so try to get as much haste as possible. If you're looking for a number, get above 30% crit then stack the shit outta haste.
