The math isn't 100% in this thread, but it is basically everyone posting their success with the build and why it's working out well. At this point with tanking you only should be going to improve your DPS after reaching effective health minimums. Gemming for avoidance is 100% pointless because with the amount of avoidance you get on raid gear you get close to the essential 50% "cap". I call it a cap because as soon as you start pushing over that point the amount more in rating you need starts to sky rocket due to diminishing returns.

Yes, Cider was modeled after him. I do have a lot of respect for the guy and his posts all the way from Vanilla WoW to now have helped me grasp new changes. I'm also a donor on their forums.
